Re: Cronin's Paradox
From the rulebook, page 26: "A card's Invulnerability will never extend to abilities it itself generates." Also, Baronet Cronin is actually used as the example in the accompanying sidebar. So if Baronet Cronin used his ability on himself, it would shield him from the crew abilities of other :crew. I...

Re: Infamy Tokens
Modifiers are applied in a way so that all "count." It is possible for a value to be modified below 0, but then when it's time to resolve the value, it'll be resolved as 0 (see rulebook page 22). So the order of operations doesn't really matter. 0+2 = 2 then 2-2 = 0, 0-2 = -2 then -2+2 = 0. Another ...

Re: Second (full) Multi-player game
Sounds like a good match! Was it Restricted Tech Vendor that was granting all the bonus ?

Re: Infirmary
Normally, if there isn't a mechanism in the description of a card that limits it's use (like the :exert or :limited limitations) then the ability can be used as often as the player can afford it, right? Correct, if it is an activated ability. The Infirmary card, however, lack both a limitation and ...

Re: Jack of Trades, skills and timing
The rules are quite clear that "During Stage 1 of the Resource Phase, the controlling captain must announce which tokens they wish to collect from any :crew with Jack of Trades". My questions are: can one use :jack- to acquire a skill useable for other purposes besides (or in addition to) acquiring...

Re: Staring an "official" event
As far as scheduling goes, you just head over to the Add Event page. If you meant more in terms of what you should do, generally there are three main kinds of events (though there's some overlap between them): Demonstration events (Demo) are meant primarily for new players, as an opportunity to lear...

Deck Building Difficulties
Are you encountering difficulties in deck building? Traveller, like any customizable game, will ultimately rely on a player base inspired to create new decks, share ideas and introduce meta concepts.
If you're not building decks yet, what are some of the you may be encountering?

Re: Favorite Traveller Character?
TNE is my favorite setting, but my favorite character is still my first Traveller, a humble Scout who mustered out with a Type S. I was fairly young at the time, so there wasn't anything particularly distinctive about him, but I just remember thinking it was so cool that I had my own little ship and...

Re: Babylon 5 ccg Drakh questions
I only played a few games of B5, but what I recall enjoying was the focus on the main characters from the show. To me, one of the detriments to Game of Thrones (which I still play at least monthly) is that the identifiable characters aren't always very good, or they're too vulnerable. Which is refle...
