Re: Complication's Abandonment Modifier
As a subtle note, this would also means that the modifiers are not cumulative, right?

First Multi-player Game
SolomonMedici and I had our first multi-player game today and I thought I'd give it a bit of a write up here. (Let me know, SolomonMedici, if I forget anything or get something wrong.) The decks: It was Scout verses Beowulf, as-is "out of the box." I was Beowulf and SolomonMedici was the Scout. Expe...

Re: The Cost of Doing Business
I was testing out the Subsidized Merchant deck. Sorry, forgot to say that. But I tell ya, paying your :vp's in costs EVERY ready phase is BRUTAL. A...

I forget the name of the character, but the setting was TNE and he was, basically, a relic hunter (a glorifi...

The Cost of Doing Business
For my fourth solo game I decided to try "The Cost of Doing Business" with only 2 's (+25 challenge points). THAT was tough.
I won with 21 points, but only had 6 cards left.
I've been considering starting my own business lately. Maybe I'm not really ready

Re: Crash Course
Just for extra clarification: you can't give a :crew a skill it already has (though you can improve it to expert) So, for Fatimah Noori, her ability to "gain" :underworld+ is really an ability to improve her existing :underworld- to :underworld+, right? You don't end up with both :underworld- and :u...

Re: Complication's Abandonment Modifier
That means that, if a is resolved, it's modifier no longer applies.
So in my example the captain would need to resolve Cryptic Rider first in order to take advantage of An Expedient Arrangement's - .
Hmmmm....I think I answered my own question.
