Re: Can events such as Bwap Advisors and 3PL be played at any time?
:reaction timing doesn't limit the card to being played in response to anything, but rather it gives the card the additional ability to be played in response. Generally in Traveller, any ability can be used at any time, unless subject to other limitations like Phase Restrictions or timing (such as :...

Re: 3PL - can it remove an advanced capability with cargo?
Hello to all, 3PL's event ability allows the player to remove from play a target :complication that has a :cargo requirement. Can this event be used to remove a target :complication that has :cargopassenger as well? The rules do say that an advanced capability counts as both its basic capability co...

Correct!pvanniervp wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:16 amThis complication says to return an you control to its owner's hand.
If my ship doesn't have an , does it mean I failed this complication and that I am therefore counted as ineligible?

Re: Least Favorite Cards
Drop Capsules do have the advantage that they are Trifling while the sensor suite takes up an :internal slot. :credit3 for a :vp seems like a pretty fair exchange on a ship that already generates :military, actually. Yes that is an excellent point, but I play the Beowulf (semimetal reasons mostly) ...

Actually yes! We did ask and according to our distributor, they are available for sale. Hobby retailers should be able to stock them from PSI.

Re: Least Favorite Cards
I don't tend to use Thulse much either, but in his defense, you could give him an Honor Blade or a Combat Knife and then he'd be a cheap inflicting source. And he could always do Aggravated Assault.

Re: Updated Traveller DB!!
Big shout out to Warfgn for doing some really fantastic updates on the Traveller DB . Fixing several errors on cards in the DB to match the real cards and also some new searching options for subtypes on cards. Which means that for :upgrade, :connection and :gear you can now search for their subtype...

No Opponent also means the race is only with you running out of cards before hitting 20 :vp. Roger that! Playing "The Cost of doing business" really puts you under pressure. This is supposed to be a time-pressure type scenario, but one work around people have used is to spend a few turns to "build ...

Re: Reading material to flesh out the card game
"Bundle of Holding" was selling .pdfs of entire Traveller lines a few months ago. They might do it again. I bought the FFE Classic Traveller CD-ROM and have been very pleased. Yeah, those bundles are a great deal on what's already a very affordable option. I wonder if Marc has ever considered a boo...
